Durga Puja is the most awaited festival every year, and all Bengalis are excited to get newly dressed, try out different Bengali delicacies and enjoy this festive season hopping from one Puja Pandal to the other, along with friends and families. Every year, we gather around Singapore in one of the Pandals (Little India, Betty Road, Jurong East or Chinese Garden) draped in our favorite traditional Kurtas and Sarees, and participate and relish the environment along with delicious food and a lot of cultural programs. Unfortunately, 2020 stands out from all the previous years due to the unprecedented havoc caused worldwide by the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to current restrictions in Singapore, none of the Bengali Associations are able to organize the festival outside. However, there will be Ghot Puja at designated places, following all the rules, preset by the government.

Nonetheless, all residents in Singapore can proudly say that, although we have been passing through a difficult time, with the unfathomable support and diligence of the Government and the residents of Singapore, we have almost fought the battle and come a long way. So let’s not worry, but ENJOY!!

To spice up our Indian and especially the Bengali communities, MoumitasKitchen has come up with a few exclusive Bengali sweets and snacks, prepared with 100% Fresh Milk, Ghee and other required ingredients. The Bengali diaspora in Singapore have been greatly missing the excellent taste of the several varieties of soft and delicious sweets along with snacks from Kolkata and Bangladesh. Hence, MoumitasKitchen has come up with a number of those varieties, with absolutely no compromise on the quality. Let’s get a taste of Durga Puja by trying these mouth watering sweets.

Note that delivery will be *free of cost*, and you can enjoy all the sweets and snacks at the comfort of your home.
