HOME REMEDIES FOR SNEEZING 🀧🀧

Today I am going to share few very useful home remedies for sneezing . Sneezing is a problem which doesn’t seems very serious illness but at some point this problem bothers a person’s physical and mental health so much that he/she could not able to concentrate even on their daily works properly.I am staying in Singapore for the last 10+ years and unfortunately I always suffer with this problem every now and then.I tried every possible way out like Renowned ENT specialist in Singapore as well in India , Homeopathy , and also Ayurvedic . But all treatment works for some time then again occurs. Today I will share few home remedies which works on me like magic . But I would highly recommend try this out at least for 2-3 months.

1.) Take water vapour three times a day at least for 5 minutes.You can use peppermint oil in the water or plain water vapour also works very well.

2.) Take 1/4 teaspoon neem powder and 1 tea spoon Isabgul together in a glass, add Luke warm water into it.Soak it for sometimes and then drink it . Try it at least for 1 month.

3.)Take 1/4 tea spoon black Pepper powder and 1/2 tea spoon ginger paste in 1.5 cup of water. Boil it until becomes 1 cup. Then drink this 3-4 times a day. It helps to reduce inflammation and also open blocked nose and open airways.

4.) Take half cup of pineapple, 1 inch long ginger, 1 inch long turmeric(if not available ,can use store bought turmeric powder 1/2 tea spoon),1/4 tea spoon black pepper powder , 1/2 cup of coconut milk . Blend all the ingredients together with 1 tea spoon of honey and drink once a week.It will boost your immunity against any kind of allergies.

4.)Increase your natural vitamin C intake, like fresh lemon juice, Oranges, guava .

VEGETABLE KURMA WITHOUT ONION AND GARLIC

INGREDIENTS :

  1. Cauliflower : 3-4 florets ( cut into small pieces)
  2. Green beans : 8-10 ( cut into small pieces)
  3. Capsicum : 1/3 of red , green and yellow ( cut into small pieces)
  4. Carrot : 1 small ( cut into small pieces)
  5. Paneer : 100 gms (optional)
  6. Tomato : 2 medium size ( paste)
  7. Ginger : 1 inch ( paste )
  8. Cumin seeds : 1/2 tea spoon
  9. Cashew : 8-10 ( soak for sometime and then paste)
  10. Raisins : 10-15 ( soak and paste)
  11. Charmagaz : 1 tea spoonful ( soak and paste)
  12. Curryleaves : 8-10
  13. Whole garammasala : cardamom 2, cinnamon 1 inch long, bay leaf 1 small, black pepper 5-6 ,cloves 2
  14. Milk : 1/2 cup
  15. Coriander powder : 1 tea spoon
  16. Cumin powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  17. Red chilli powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  18. Hing : one pinch
  19. Salt : according to taste
  20. khoya : according to taste
  21. Sugar: according to taste
  22. Grammasala powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  23. Butter : 2 tea spoon
  24. Kasuri methi : 1/2 tea spoon

PROCEDURE

  1. First of all cut all the vegetables in small pieces and then fry them in a way so that they are crunchy and not very soft.
  2. Add oil in a pan and add cumin seeds , all the whole garammasalas and hing. After few seconds add ginger and tomato paste , cumin -coriander powder ,red chilli powder . Cook for 5-6 mins.
  3. Add cashew-raisins-charmagaz paste into it . Again cook for 3-4 mins .
  4. Now add khoya , sugar and salt . Cook the gravy until it starts leaving oil. Add kasuri methi into it.
  5. Now add all the fried vegetables into it and mix them nicely. Add milk and water and let it boil for 4-5 mins in medium high flame.Add garammasala powder and butter into it.
  6. Add freshly chopped coriander and serve hot.

This authentic northindian recipe everyone will love to eat. At my home from my kid to my parents everybody enjoys this whenever I prepare it.This recipe goes very well with Butter Naan ( can follow my recipe BUTTER Naan without egg on tawa) , Jeera rice , and also with roti and plain paratha. BADAM HALWA ( ALMOND DESSERT)

INGREDIENTS :

  1. Almonds : 1 cup(soaked and peeled skin)
  2. Sugar : 1/2 cup
  3. Kesar(saffron) : few threads
  4. Suji : 2 table spoon
  5. Ghee : 4 table spoon
  6. Milk : 1 cup

PROCEDURE :

  1. First of all soak the almonds for 4-5 hrs and then take out the skin. Now keep the almonds in a dried cloth and wrap it so that all excess water absorbs.
  2. Make a powder from this almonds( not very smooth).
  3. Now take a non-stick kadai , heat ghee . Add suji and fry until lightly brown in colour. Add powdered almonds.Roast together until colour changes and mostly ghee absorbed nicely.
  4. Add water into it and let it boil until the water absorbed and then add milk into it and stir continuously else it will stick to the bottom.
  5. Sprinkle saffron threads and mix well . A nice aroma will come and turn of the gas.Again add 2 table spoon ghee on top and mix well.
  6. Garnish with almond pieces and serve warm .

DOI BEGUN without onion and garlic (BRINJAL WITH YOGURT)

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Brinjal : 4-5 ( small size , cut into lengthwise)
  2. Yogurt : 1/2 cup
  3. Oil : 2-3 tea spoon
  4. Salt : Tastewise
  5. Sugar : tastewise
  6. Curry leaves : 10-12
  7. Mustard seeds : 1 tea spoon
  8. Hing : 2 pinch
  9. Red chilli : 2
  10. Green chilli : 2 (optional)
  11. Coriander leaves : freshly chopped

PROCEDURE :

  1. Cut the brinjal lengthwise and coat with turmeric and salt.Fry until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl mix curd salt and sugar nicely.
  3. Take a pan, add oil. Add mustard seeds , red chillies, green chillies, hing and curry leaves. After few seconds, add fried brinjals and mix altogether.Now add the yogurt mix into the pan and mix with the brinjals.
  4. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.

This simply made delicious brinjal recipe will love by every age group. BASANTI PULAO (SWEET FRAGRANT RICE )

INGREDIENTS :

  1. Govindobhog chal(chinigura rice) : 2 cups (soaked)
  2. Sugar : 1 cup
  3. Salt : tastewise
  4. Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  5. Ghee : 3-4 tea spoon
  6. White oil : 2 tea spoon
  7. Cashew : 10-12 pieces
  8. Raisins : 2 tea spoon
  9. Bay leaves : 2 -3
  10. Whole Garammasala: cinnamon sticks 2″ , cardamoms 4-5 , black peppers 8-9, cloves 2-3

PROCEDURE :

  1. Wash and soak the rice for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil and ghee in a pressure cooker in low flame . Add bay leaves and all whole garam masala and cashew nuts. Fry until the cashew nuts become light golden brown.
  3. Strain off all the water and add the soaked rice into the cooker in medium low flame and fry until the rice grains are little big in size.At the same time add turmeric and raisins too with the mixture.
  4. Add 4.5 cups of water and the sugar into the cooker.This is the most important part of this cooking as the water measurement will decide the texture and softness of the pulao . Close the lid and give 2 whistles in medium flame.
  5. Let the lid to open by itself.Do not release the steam before time.
  6. Now transfer the pulao in a big bowl so that the pulao don’t become sticky.
  7. Serve hot with Spicy aloodum .

POTOL KOSHA (PARWAL MASALA) WITHOUT ONION AND GARLIC

INGREDIENTS

  1. Potol (parwal) : 500 gms
  2. Potato : 2 big size
  3. Tomato :1 (cut into medium pieces)
  4. Ginger paste : 2 spoon
  5. Mustard oil : for cooking
  6. Whole coriander : 1 tea spoon
  7. Whole cumin seeds : 1 tea spoon
  8. whole fennel seeds : 1/3 tea spoon
  9. Whole red chilli : 2
  10. Whole garam masala : 1″ cinnamon stick, 2cloves, 2-3 cardamom, few black peppers
  11. Bay leaves : 1
  12. Garam masala powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  13. Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  14. Red chilli Powder : 1 tea spoon
  15. Salt : tastewise
  16. Sugar : taste wise
  17. Hing : 1 pinch
  18. Ghee : 1 tea spoon

PROCEDURE

  1. First of all peel the potol skin in an uneven pattern that means don’t peel very clean way .Keep some of the portion of the skin it gives good texture and taste too.
  2. Cut potato in medium sizes as well .
  3. Fry both potol and potato until golden brown along with some salt and turmeric powder.
  4. Make a smooth paste of ingredients 4-9.
  5. Heat mustard oil , add few cumin seeds, bay leaves , hing and few whole garam masala .
  6. Add the smooth paste into the oil . Add chopped tomato , turmeric powder , red chilli powder , salt and sugar. Cook until oil separates and a very good aroma comes from it.
  7. Now add all the fried potol and potato pieces and mix them well with the masala.Cook in low flame at least for 7-8 mins.
  8. Add hot water .
  9. Let it boil with lid for 5-6 mins in medium high flame.
  10. Add ghee and garam masala powder at the end.

PANEER SEEKH KABAB WITHOUT ONION AND GARLIC

Ingredients :

  1. Paneer : 400gms( cut into big square pieces)
  2. Curd : 1/2 cup
  3. Roasted jeera powder : 1 tea spoon
  4. Roasted coriander powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  5. Red chilli powder : 1 tea spoon
  6. Everest chaat masala : 1 tea spoon
  7. Black pepper powder : 1 tea spoon
  8. Ajwain : 1/4 tea spoon
  9. Ginger paste : 1 tea spoon
  10. Lemon juice : 1 tea spoon
  11. Besan : 1 tea spoon (slightly roasted)
  12. Salt : taste wise
  13. Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  14. Coriander leaves : 1 handful freshly chopped
  15. Capsicum : Red yellow and green( 1 whole each, cut into square pieces)
  16. Tomato : 1 big size( cut into square pieces)
  17. Baby Potato : 5-6 pieces (semi boiled and peel skin )
  18. Baby corn : 5-6 pieces( semi boiled)
  19. Wooden long Seekh : 8-9

PROCEDURE :

  1. First of all take a big bowl and mix all the ingredients .
  2. Now add cut capsicum, tomato,potato and corn pieces into the mixture.Mix them together.
  3. Add paneer pieces and coat nicely.Keep In the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Now thread them on seekh one by one equally so that all types of items are in one seekh.
  5. Heat oil in a flat tawa and place the seekh . Turn them around to grill evenly.
  6. Sprinkle Chaat masala and fresh coriander leaves before serving .Serve hot with roti paratha and salads.

Doi Fuchka ( Dahi Puri )

INGREDIENTS :

  1. Puri : 6 pcs
  2. Potato : for filling
  3. Dahi : 1/2 cup
  4. Chaat masala ( everest ) : 1 tea spoon
  5. Sweet tamarind chatney : 2-3 tea spoon
  6. Chopped green chilli : 2-3
  7. Bhaja masala( roasted coriander and cumin seeds powder) : 2 tea spoon
  8. Nylon Sev : sprinkle on top
  9. Fresh coriander : chopped

PROCEDURE

  1. For tamarind chatney , soak small amount of tamarind in warm water then take the pulp only without the seeds . Now boil with sugar in water for some time . Add black salt and salt . When become little thick add tadka with cumin seeds, black paper powder with oil .

  3. For dahi , mix dahi with little bit salt and sugar. Mix well all together .
  4. Take small 6 puries in one plate. Now first of all add potato inside, then add dahi , sweet chatney . Now add bhaja masala, chaat masala , chopped green chilli . At the end sprinkle some nylon sev and fresh chopped coriander .

Aloo-Chanar Sabji ( Potato -formless cottage cheese Recipe )

INGREDIENTS :

  1. Milk : 1 ltr
  2. Lemon juice: 2-3 table spoon
  3. Potato : 1 ( cut into small cubes)
  4. Tomato : 1 (small)
  5. Cumin powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  6. Coriander powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  7. Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  8. Garam masala powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  9. Kasuri methi : 1/3 tea spoon
  10. Hing : one pinch
  11. Red chilli powder : 1/3 tea spoon
  12. Sugar : tastewise
  13. Salt : tastewise
  14. Greenchilli : 1
  15. Coriander leaves : freshly chopped

PROCEDURE

  2. Now take out the chana from the liquid and keep aside.
  3. Take a frying pan, add oil. when the oil becomes moderately hot, add the cumin seeds , hing and green chilli. Add cubed potatoes . Fry for some time . Add all the dry masala powder with chopped tomatotes. Fry until a nice aroma comes. Add kasuri methi , mix all together nicely.
  4. Add the fresh chana and let it fry for another few mins. Now add very less water and let them cook with lid for 2-3 mins.
  5. Add garam masala powder and coriander leaves . Serve hot with plain rice , roti, paratha ,or chapati.

Potato Longbeans Fry With grated Coconut

INGREDIENTS

  1. Potato : 2 ( cut into small cubes)
  2. Long beans : One bunch ( cut into fine small pieces )
  3. Carom seeds : 1/2 tea spoon
  4. Hing : One pinch
  5. Roasted powder : Cumin and Coriander ( Roasted , powdered)
  6. Chilli flakes : 1/2 tea spoon
  7. Grated Coconut : 1 table spoon
  8. Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
  9. Salt : tastewise
  10. Sugar : 1/2 tea spoon
  11. Garammasala : 1/2 tea spoon
  12. Coriander leaves : freshly chopped

PROCEDURE :

  1. First of all cut the potatoes and longbeans in very small pieces.
  2. Take a pan , add oil. Add carom seeds and hing . Add potatoes , fry for sometime. Then add longbeans and fry again for sometime .
  3. Now add all the dry masalas and fry in low flame for minimum 5 mins. Then add little bit water . When the potatoes become soft , add garam masala powder and grated coconut . Mix well all together .
  4. Then add fresh coriander and mix well .
  5. On top garnish with grated coconut .
